NAKHON RATCHAISMA, Thailand - Tech. Sgt. Clarence Jenkins smiles as he greets a student at an elementary school near Korat Royal Air Force Base, Thailand, during a break from Cope Tiger '06 exercises about 110 miles northeast of Bangkok, Feb. 10. Sergeant Jenkins was part of a small contingent of Airmen that delivered needed sports equipment and other supplies to the Ang Huay Yang Elementary School near Korat. Sergeant Jenkins, a flight engineer normally assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron from Yokota Air Base, Japan, is one of about 300 U.S. military forces participating in Cope Tiger '06. Exercise officials say about 1,300 multi-national forces - including 1,000 Thai and Singaporean forces - are participating in the multi-lateral exercise. Exercise officials say Cope Tiger provides quality air-to-air, air-to-ground and large force employment training for crews in a multi-national environment while expanding the capabilities and readiness of U.S. and allied forces. Cope Tiger '06 is scheduled to end Feb. 18. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Keith Brown)
